• Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
• Final-year or final-semester candidates may apply provisionally, subject to producing proof of passing on or before 31 December 2026, if selected.
• Applicants must be proficient in the specified local language of the State/UT for which they apply.
• Candidates who studied the chosen local language in Class 10 or Class 12 may be exempt from the Local Language Proficiency Test on producing the relevant marksheet/certificate.
